An album, who's concept was thought up in the worst of times. Mere months before getting married, with my family evicted, living crammed in my soon to be mother-in-laws basement. Most of the material written for this album was during that time. To give me clarity, to give me purpose, to give me something to do to keep my mind from stressing all the time while trying to find a new place to live.

When I wasn't at work or searching for a new place to live, I often took up a park bench here or there and wrote whatever was on my mind that day. Writing for years, always looking for a little something different, I came across these blue paper legal pads and these are where most of my writing took place. I had about an album worth of songs all written when we had finally lucked out and found a place to live. I had gotten so much out of putting this project together that I decided to push onward and give this project more of me. I wrote more songs and had like 30 or 40 total that were possibilities for the album. After going through them time and time again I decided that these songs were the ones that best fit together.

I had recently stumbled upon looperman.com and from those loops and samples was able to put together the music and feel to the album. This is something I had never done before. Without the looperman community and knowledge I had picked up from other producers, this wouldn't have been possible. I remain forever grateful to looperman's very forward way of thinking. Many members, like myself, are people making music for the love of it and sharing our works with others freely, reaching across the globe to create something new, that otherwise wouldn't have been created. I don't endorse them, I just think it's an amazing place. After using these samples and loops to create the music for Blue Paper View, I decided I would give back and offer up all of my acapellas from the album for anyone to use.
